Day 12! I can't believe how much fun stuff has been posted in 12 days...outstanding!
This fic jumped in my head last Sunday as I began to panic about what I would write for this week.  Marshall said, "Me! Me!"    So I present...Marshall.

This is excellent! I love your picture of Marshall as he develops into the character that we know (but not enough!) and love.

Marshall tossed his chin and reminded her he could drill an apple at 400 meters. Later, Mary demonstrated that she could drill him with an apple at 5 meters.

I do love Marshall. I can see him growing up like that, I think you got him pegged right on. I do love this, I'm glad you posted it so early in the day. Gives me something to read before bed :) I love Marshall.

Really loved how you constructed this. The flow from one part of Marshall's life to another. His drive to be the best always evident but never flaunted in an obnoxious way. Well done!

Marshall has such a lovely...ahem...personality but just underneath the surface is the ability and willing to bring it on when the situation warrants it. Always looking out for the underdog.

Loved how you had Mary and Marshall meet and become partners, each earning the others trust.

I can totally see Marshall suffering through Mary for many months before he started to accept her. He's such a grin and bear it guy.
