I have a gigantic research paper due in a few weeks and haven't even picked a topic yet.

Is it a historical or contemporary course? Becuse historically there is a lot of juicy stuff in US politics

Court cases are always fun. (or at least I love them) You could do something epically feminist like Roe v. Wade. Or something jus awesome like Brown v. Board of Education.

sorry... I love picking essay topics (just not actually carrying them throught o a thesis) and i get really excited about court cases.

lol. I LOVE finding sources. Its reading them and applying the info thats not fun. I have over 20 sources for the paper I'm working on right now and I am fighting the urge to go find more. Plus if you're doing a major court case you can probably find some newspaper articles about the case and reactions and stuff *bounces* I know the NY times has a lot of their old stuff archived online so you don't have to hang out with microfilms.

sooo true. lol.. Right now i'm working on a paper of soap advertising in the 1930s-40s. So i'm listening to radio soap operas.. its so entertaining. I love finding pop culture primary sources.. much more fun than reading journals etc.
