Okay, I had to read the last part again because I missed something the first time around. I was going through it, thinking, "Oh, this build up is great" and then I was thinking that the angst was rather brutal, and then I blinked and missed the happy ending.

Very nice. I like the evolution of it, and the coffee part (where is the guy to bring this coffee addict something? *rolls eyes*).

Coffee and junior mints. Awesome. :)

Oops! I hope it actually makes sense, considering I wrote it at work. (Yeah, I'm a model employee for sure.)

Glad you liked it! Sounds like you need a pocket-sized Marshall for your coffee addiction...

Actually, I'm a very, very fast reader. I retain well too, but sometimes the speed gets the better of me, and I miss stuff. It made sense, it was just a matter of slowing down to get it all. :)

Yes, I do need a Marshall. I'm not sure I want him pocket-size though... :P

I had the same speed problem when I reread it, too. I really hate it when my mind's working faster than my fingers and I skip writing whole paragraphs at a time... always a bitch to fix.

Oh, you and Snerky. So demanding! Everyone wants their own Marshall, full-sized. (Psh, I do, too, so really, I can't talk. He's just too awesome and adorable for his own good.)

I had to take this stupid class in high school where they taught speed reading. I remember thinking "Screw this, I read faster and retain more the way I normally read." So I didn't learn anything that semester, but it wasn't like my teacher could tell the difference. I do the same thing when I'm writing; missing letters, whole words, sentences, and paragraphs.

I see the value of a pocket-sized Marshall. He's very portable. But there are important things that a pocket-sized one just can't do. :P Maybe one of each? I mean, you're right, he IS too awesome/adorable for his own good. :)
