Kyle XY Package (Fanmixes + Wallies)
Well, I came across this tv show by accident, and for the last five days all I did in my spare time was watch it. And watch it I did. I finished the whole thing in exactly five days. Besides some plot holes (and general “far-fetchedness”), the story is quite interesting; and it captives. It got me hooked. Anyhow, the connection between Adam, Sarah, Kyle and Jessi was the thing that interested me the most. So, I decided to make this mix. It’s a different concept, I guess, ‘cause the mixes are somehow intertwined. Separately (art-wise) they might not make sense, but together they do. And that’s basically the reason why I think Kyle and Jessi should get together in the present, and also the reason why Adam and Sarah did in the past. Plus, I never felt any mojo between Kyle and Amanda, which is very different when Kyle and Jessi are concerned.
Other things that I wanted to comment with my newfound fellow Kyle XY “watchers” (I haven’t had the time to browse the internet for any spoilers for the new season or read people’s opinions about the show); so, I would love to hear what you think:
1st) Is it just me or other people also think that Jessi is best suited for Kyle? It’s not that I have something against that Amanda girl (aside from her insipid ways, of course), but even that isn’t motive enough to dislike. I simply find Jessi waay more interesting and far beyond cooler, besides, I think that a Kyle/Jessi get together would be more interesting and bring out a stronger connection. I just don’t see a lot of chemistry between the young lovebirds. Am I alone? I can’t be! The fact that I found a community here on LJ for them gives me hope that I’m not alone :D
2nd) Will we have a Adam/Sarah meet in the not so distant future? I would love to see the interaction between those two! There’s so much baggage, and so much issues. It would be great to watch all the awkwardness. Anyone knows if that is in the cards for the new season?
3rd) Which brings to my third and last inquiry… I totally dig Ally Sheedy, don’t get me wrong. I will always hold her in some place dear for “Breakfast Club”, but she doesn’t look a tiny bit like the girl who plays Jessi (sorry, don’t know the actress’s name. Mental note: google her). I was expecting someone totally different! The guy who plays Adam looks so much like the one who plays Kyle (again, don’t know their names either… I’m new to the fandom, please cut me some slack), and Sheedy looks… okay, but the girl who plays Jessi is sooo much prettier. I know that I’m overreacting, but anyone was sort of disappointed too?
