What's been going on
Mostly...a lot of nothing. I hate my class, but hey, gotta get through it. I think at this point I would hate ANY class. I just want my degree, serioulsy.
It looks like I'll be a substitute teacher this upcoming year. So I might have a "day job" and I can still work part time at KMart nights and weekends. All my grad classes are at night or online, so I might be able to swing it. I had to have a TB test, not fun :( I HATE needles.
I have been hanging with Eli a lot lately, always cool. I miss Crystal, but talk to her online all the time now. She's in Japan with the hubby now.
I mailed a package off to a guy in Iraq. We talk online, and he seems pretty cool, so I sent him off a box of "stuff." Mostly an old papaer back, some candy, some cereal bars, and some granola bars. Hopefully, it will get there with no drama. Iraq, the happiest place on earth, right? UGH.
Yeah, I'm sure it's right up there with Disney World......
Anyhoo, I don't live a very exciting life, so that is, for better or for worse the long and short of it. Crystal's little brother joined the Air Force, so I wrote him a letter I gotta mail Monday. I've gotten a LOT better about mailing stuff off lately. I sucked at it before, but I've kinda kicked myself into gear. So yay.
Anyways, that is it. I hope everything is good out there in LJ land for ya'll.
Oh, and I'm going to a much smaller church now, not the mega Methodist church with about two thousand members. I think I'd like to teach Sunday school eventually if they'd let me, they say they need some teachers. Being new they might want someone they know a little better though. It's a rotating schedule, I'd teach a class and then next week go to a sermon. I liked teaching Sunday school years ago, so why not now? :D
