fucking dogsitting, day III
it all started with a strange object that appeared on my driveway. In the rain, it resembled maybe a piece of pipe or something and I hoped it wasn't part of Jennie's car. Later, in the sun, my curiosity got the best of me and I went out to investigate. It was, to my suprise, a bone- with two knobby balls one one end and a clean cut on the other end. It was full of marrow and yummies for the puppies, so I brought it in and gave it to syrus, who proceeded to eat off both knobby ends into pink clumpy raw looking stump, which I gave to aria for a while so she could have her turn. I got nervous taking it from her, she obviiously didn't want to give it away, and I was kinda scared- if she were to growl or anything, I would have been really nervous...
Anyway, so I was smart enough to put Aria on a towel after I noticed the little pink remenants Syrus has left on my rug When Aria's turn was over I took it and, to their confusion and despair, threw it outside so they can have more tomorrow. We came back into my room and I tried to get them to lick up the leftovers off my rug. Syrus suddenly stiffened and jumped, his front paws slightly splayed... Not sure if this was aggressive about where he had been eating the bone and aria was now scavenging, I watched carefully... They kept about sniffing and wagging and then Syrus moved weird again and aria put her head over his neck assertively. I interpereted this as definate dominance conversation and told her to cut it out. Then they scruffled silently a little and syrus was on his back and aria was standing over him. Grumbling and shooing her away again, syrus settles next to me, and aria, to my utter suprise, walks over to where he had most recently had the bone, squats, and pees. I bellowed, "NO ARIA!!!" and she looked at me coolly and stopped as I flew to my feet yelling.
So i got the bone towel and tried to soak it up and thew the massive rug into the washer. I'm gonna have to hang it somewhere to dry it would take years in the dryer. Damn dog!! I know it was just some instinctual dominance thing, but COME ON! that's TWICE today, no... THREE TIMES! Just before dinner, when I was retrieving the bone for syrus, someone had peed in the mudroom and syrus did not seem guilty at all this time, and aria seemed very concered about coming in to see me after i cleaned it up and headed back to my room (i thought maybe it was just walking by syrus who had the bone at that point, but i think it was GUILT)!
anyway, needless to say, I am VERY excited about my parents returning so they can take over these damn dogs! *huff*
Almost done with HP5. (why do they bother to put an end key on macs if it doesn't work!?), and I am so furious with how things are going with cho. WTF! HArry come ON buddy! Get some balls, pull it together, romance the girl, assure her, anything! What happened to snape was really shocking and I cannot WAIT to see that acted out, but it is really disturbing and effective.. You dont hate snape any less- but you get mad at JP. (James Potter).
ANyway I am hoping to go see white noise with jennie tomorrow or later when kk is here, and see michael, and tomorrow i go see april and sleep at mom's and THEN KK'S HERE!! WOZOOT!
