I'm a permanent resident of America, but a Brazilian citizen (with a Brazilian passport) and only an AA. Would it be possible for me to get a job given those conditions?

I suspect the answer is no, and I'm not entirely sure if I'd do it, but if it were possible I'd seriously consider it, at least for a year.
