goals
Jon Henry helped me come up with some goals during our drive to school. I can't remember all of them, but they included:
go to the CDO office
visit the construction site (that's a bit illegal, so I may not hold myself to it)
be on time to class
go to GRAMMA (GRinnellians Advocating More MAssage)
have a fondue party
and here's one I've added
regularly empty my trash can and recycling
then of course there are the pipe dreams:
eat well
exercise
get enough sleep
work hard in all my classes
I think all of the goals, excluding the pipe dreams, are attainable. The pipe dreams are good to keep in mind at least. Today when I told Emma that I plan on having all my work done an hour before class so I won't be late because of printing things off at the last minute, she told me that she wants to be Miss Universe and an astronaut. I suppose they are comparable goals. Sigh.
I think I do want to be here, this is good! Oh, and I got into physics! Unfortunately, I did not know that I was going to get into physics, and thus did not study calculus over break. But supposedly it will come back quickly, we'll see. Anyway, I am excited to play with numbers and stuff! Yay!
