Berkeley
So I just got back from the UC Berkeley Speech Invitational Tournament. It was fantastic!!!!
I remember Berkeley last year...darn, it was hell!!! I was doing both debate and Expository, which meant waking up at 6AM, going to bed around 2AM, walking up and down hills after hills for hours to get from round to round in heels!!!, not being able to buy any food because of lack of time, and basically having no fun!!!
This year's Berkeley, however, was grrrrrrrrrreat!!! I broke to quater-finals despite my last minute preparation. When my coach found out that I broke, she just looked at me and said "WTF!"
I nodded and laughed. What could I have said???
Anyways. SO the entire tournament was relaxing!!! I still got to watch the Daily Show at 11:30. YAY!!! I went on Telegraph St. with my friends and bought bunch of anti-bush buttons and bumper stickers, a Drawn Together T-shirt, and some other useless but cool stuff!!!
