(no subject)
So yea I haven't actually posted in for freaking ever. Initially I intended to just rant and generally be emo for this entry, but I decided to put that in a separate entry and talk about less emo things in the hope it would cheer me up. Other than the two shitty things that I've had to deal with this year, life has actually been really good. Carly and I are doing well, we're back to a solid place, I feel, after the whole Diana debacle. Our freshman this year are generally pretty awesome, though some of them should hang out more. I'm a little stressed, though in a good way about this summer. I've still have to tie down a job and turn in my application for living on campus over the summer, but it looks like that's going to be the plan. Carly got into the Russian CLS program and got the scholarship. She also got into the Ecuador program which means she'll be in Ecuador all next semester which is a little sad, but I'm very proud of her for both of them. I just dropped nuclear physics, which means I have no class Tues/Thurs again. That will be nice because it means I can work harder on Dynamics and get all the other things done that I want. Maybe even go to the gym once in a while, lose some of the weight that I've put on over the last year. Other than Nuke though my classes have been pretty fun this semester. Dynamics is frequently the class sitting down and tackling a huge problem as a group, which I find rather fun. Russian is frustrating but fun as always. AI has been wonderful. I've loved the discussions, and the readings I've done have been rather enjoyable. I can't believe that the year is mostly over. We've got like 6 weeks till exams and its depressing. Games have been pretty awesome so far too. I'm enjoying all of them. Other than my two issues this year (which have been/are rather large)life has actually been pretty damn good.
