So I wanted to have something to post for Lord H's big day . . . but I've been working on an oil painting of quite another captain this weekend, so I'm hoping Horatio won't be too put out by not having his own picture the subject of scrutiny! I've been on an art craze and really busy with post-moving life craziness, and so have sadly neglected my writing, but I hope this shows that I haven't been entirely neglecting the fandom!

I'm not quite done with it--now that I have it on the computer it's clear that his eyes are still off, and his head's a little wide . . . *rant* *rant* *rant* . . . but I will be without a camera for a while after tomorrow, so it was a matter of posting this now or waiting a month. It's a rather shitty photo come to that, so it's probably for the best that I'll eventually be buying a new camera. Maybe just look at him from the mouth down for now XD
