Bowling, & ParaParaParadise

Tapi adakah kita, kami, orang Malaysia kisah pun pasal ni?), so kebanyakan game ditulis dalam bahasa Jepun jer. Kebanyakkan game ialah game lumba kereta, so kira orait gak, pasal saya memang suka racing games.

Korang kena gerakkan lengan korang around the stage supaya kena sensor yang diletakkan kat atas stage. Korang sepatutnya menari seperti penari Para Para kat Jepun, mengikuti animasi avatar 3D kat skrin, tapi ada jugak orang yang suka lebih freestyle ikut kesukaan diorang masing-masing.

Pada mulanya, main game ni alamak cepat rasa letih. x_x;; Tapi, lama-kelamaan, dah jadi biasa dengannya. Berpeluh banyak lak tu. O_O Gila aih...

OK, pasal "bowling" kat dalam tajuk entry ni... Kat sebelah arcade room ni ada bowling alley room gak. Aku tak pernah main bowling sebelum ni, so 2 minggu lalu, aku ambil kesempatan main bowling gak. Main bowling bersama-sama dengan ayah. Walaupun ni first time main bowling, dapat gak, pada satu masa, dapat strike dua kali! XD Ayah pula dah pernah main bowling sebelum ni, so dia lagi pro... Dia menang berturut-turut dalam kesemua dua round. Kira bolehlah... Pasal aku tak pandai main bowling lagi, banyak kali bola masuk longkang. x_x;;

Itulah entry aku setakat ni. Sorilah, pasal tak update LJ kerap kali. ^_^;;

==========

Nowadays, I go out with my parents every Sunday to Megamall a lot more often than before. Normally, I'd go to the mall to watch a movie (there's a cinema there, oh yeah, woo! XD That's where I get to watch most new blockbuster movies), but nowadays, I also go there because there's an arcade room there.

The majority of these arcade cabinets are, rather predictably, all imported from Japan (even with a disclaimer written in plain English indicating that they were meant for use in Japan only, so technically, this is illegal... But would us Malaysians care, anyway?), so a lot of games are written in Japanese. But there are also games that were localized in English, too. There are even cabinets originating from China and Taiwan (most of them are beatmatching games), in Chinese. Most games are racing games, which is good, because I like racing games. There are also shooting games, and fighting games (a la King of Fighters and Street Fighters etc.) there, too.

But there's one cabinet that attracted quite an attention with everyone in the arcade room: ParaParaParadise.

More info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ParaParaParadise

It's like Dance Dance Revolution, for your arms. (But there are even some gamers who use their feet as well just to show-off.) You'll need move your arms around the stage so that they got picked up by the sensors placed at the top of the stage. You are supposed to dance like those Para Para dancers from Japan, like those animated 3D avatars on screen, but some gamers like to dance in freestyle, too.

At first, oh my god my arms got tired from all the dancing. x_x;; But I've gotten used to it. And I sweat a lot. XD My parents approve this game a lot because I can literally exercise with it. (They even went as far as calling this game "exercise game", even though it has nothing to do with exercising!) I was shocked with long time gamers of this game. They've set options to, for example, make the 3D avatar invisible, make the arrows grace the screen faster than usual, etc.. One guy has even memorized all arrows of each songs, to the point that he can set an option so that all arrows become 100% invisible, forcing him to solely use his memory alone to play, and still able to combo up to 300+ times! O_O OMGWTF insane...

Okay, for the "bowling" part of the title... Right beside the arcade room is a bowling alley room. I had never played bowling before, therefore 2 weeks ago, I've taken the opportunity to do so. I played with my father. Even though I never played bowling before, I managed to set a strike two times! XD However, my father had played bowling before, so obviously, he's a much better player... He beat me in both two rounds. Because I don't even know how to properly play bowling, lots of times the ball goes into the gutter. x_x;;

Well, that's my entry for now. Sorry for not updating LJ that often. ^_^;;
