It's the final countdown.

Two days until Lumos!

It is hot as balls here in Oregon, so I'm kind of questioning my santy re: flying to a place that is currently 110F. It was 106 here yesterday, and if I hadn't spent the whole day hunkered down in a lawn chair with my feet in my nephew's kiddie pool, I'm pretty sure I would have died of heat exhaustion. Like an old person. ( Read more... )

day to day, lumos 2006!!!

do you guys have air conditioning?

LADY IN THE WATER WAS SO GOOD. so so wonderfully good. i still think the village sucked, but that's because i read a book in sixth grade with an extremely similar plot, so i felt really cheated out of a surprise ending.

last minute packing is fun.....

No! :( It's usually so cold here that it seems pointless to get it for two months out of the year. Until, of course, those two months roll around...

I really loved it! I liked The Village - I thought it was shot and acted really well. Bryce Dallas Howard is lovely, too. I'd pay $6.50 to watch her do nothing for two hours. ♥_♥

see, that's the thing, las vegas will probably have air conditioning EVERYWHERE, so it'll be comfortable! lsjdfa i always think people are whiners when they complain about 100 degree weather because that's what we have all the time, but then i remember: not everyone has air conditioning. i think even if i move up north, i will still have air conditioning.

sdjklfs it's so odd to see you guys saying it's colder up north (or implying it, anyway) when it's the opposite here :))

I was paying attention to the critics on this one, so I'm a little surprised. May have to consider it now :-? I love the word, "Shyamalanathon"!

The airport waiting sounds awful, but enjoy your time with ladies.

I hope you do! I was shocked to look up the reviews after I saw it and see that the critics had panned it. It doesn't have that kind of overblown CINEMATIC EPIC!!! thing going on, which I think a lot of people have come to expect at the theater these days. >:/ I like quieter films, though!

Thank you! Expect lotsa pictures! ;))

Oh man, and here I thought Pea and Cassie were getting in late! I didn't have many flight times to choose from, so I was like "whatever!" and got one that sounded like it got in at a reasonable time. lskdjflkd So premature...

How are you getting to the airport! I just figured I'd take the last Night Bus, which for some reason is leaving at 11a. I have no idea how long other people are planning on hanging around, but it seems like there must be more of us with late flights! Maybe we can huddle together at the airport when the sun goes down....
