(no subject)
it turns out my cell phone had a problem that the alltel people had never seen before. not only was my voicemail not working, but i couldnt even get the thing started. it kept freezing up at the welcome screen. i couldnt cut it off, except for taking the battery out. when we took it to the alltel store they said they couldnt retrieve my contacts, ringtones, or wallpaper because it was so messed up. so they replaced it and gave me a month of unlimited text messaging for my inconvieniences. heh. at least i didnt have all of my friends in there yet or else i would have a lot more contacts to put back.
i talked to the purdy's today. that was exciting. tim wasnt there but his mom was really happy to hear from me. she said they have been trying to get in touch with me forever but they didnt know my new numbers. it was funny, bc ms. purdy called up to shannon "guess whos on the phone?" and she immediately guessed "tim rafferty?" it makes me feel good that they have been wondering about me all this time, but bad that i hadn't called them in so long. i talked to shannon for a few minutes and she seems to be doing well. hopefully they will have a halloween party because im not doing anything so far and Purdy parties are always so much fun.
