Please Sponsor Epilepsy Toronto!

Wow! Three posts in one day after such a long dry spell!

So, on September 26th I will be participating in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront 5k Walk in order to raise funds for Epilepsy Toronto.

I'm appealing to the LJ community to please sponsor me and Epilepsy Toronto.

I was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of seven and, thirteen years later, I still suffer from chronic nocturnal seizures.  On average, I have 3-5 seizures a night 4-5 nights of the week.  While my condition does not have much influence on my daily life, others in the epilepsy community are not so lucky.  Epilepsy Toronto is a great organization that helps people with epilepsy in many different ways.  ET organizes everything from group meetings for youth with epilepsy, parents with children who have epilepsy and art therapy to job support and training.  ET ensures that no one is fired or suffers discrimination at the workplace because of their condition.  Check out their website for more information.  http://www.epilepsytoronto.org/

You can help support me by making a secure online donation using your credit card. Click on the link below:

All pledges will receive an official tax receipt (either electronic or in the mail.)

Thanks for your help!
