Wedding planning anyone?

Not that I am begrudging planning my wedding at all, it's just that I am still looking for bridemaid dresses and a few other details. While I know that I have plenty of time still, I'd like to find the stores as listed below ( Read more... )

Haha. While I don't know those stores by name.... :)

Let's see...
You could try that Crystal Bride place or I hear David's Bridal has some nice bm dresses. I've also seen a lot of recommendations for places like Macy's or Carson's in their formal department.
If you're looking free DJ...you might not find one (ok, you won't). The cheapest I could find was 700, but they were shadesters. So I have one that's 900. But...if you're looking cheap, maybe you could ask those friends of yours who DJ. Or hey, I went to a wedding once where windows media player was their dj. THey just found a mic-friendly cousin to do the intros and stuff like that. They had to rent speakers, but it was a lot cheaper.
As for flowers, after the whole mess with Aberdeen's, I decided to go silk. I'm working with these new ladies now and they're doing silk and seem really willing to accommodate any budget. I've got my whole wedding for 384 (which has more people than yours). If you're interested I could give you their phone number.
Photography...I can't help you there. That was my one "splurge" because good pictures are important to me. You may want to look into photography college students at a local school. I don't know any by name but if you called and asked their department for recommendations they might give it to you?

Hope that helps!
