It's September in Italy and it's actually getting cold. The summer seemed so long this year, spanning from April until just a couple weeks ago. I remember last year seeing snow in May. I'll be sure to remember this summer next year when I'm watching it snow again in May, on the East coast

I don't even know how to comment on the US political front. It's such a joke (and I mean that quite literally). I'm not sure any country is better, it certainly isn't here in the UK. Everyone is all upset with the current government, demanding change, aid with the current economic "crisis" (which is a joke in and of itself, who didn't see this coming, when they lend people who make less than £20,000 a year a £250,000 mortgage, and wonder why people are failing to pay?), help with the rising price of oil, etc. All the usual, and running towards the other political party like they are the bastion saint of pulling-money-out-of-thin-air ( ... )

I've heard that the UK is crazy about tabloid stuff...I think they're pretty on par with the states, if not worse.
