(no subject)
Hmm well the beginning of the week has already been quite interesting...
Work is gonna be crazy just b/c the schedule is shifting until summer classes start again and I'm finding myself with spare time. I don't know what to do with myself. This afternoon I managed to...yes...clean. I should really stop doing that. haha
My uncle tells me that he talked to my father again and that he should be calling me that afternoon. It's been 4 days. Yeah he's not going to call, and I'm an absolute idiot for having any hope for that whatsoever. I put too much trust in people and end up getting disappointed. That's my problem. I really really need to expect the worst and hope for the best I guess. So if I seem a little emo lately it's because of that. I can't stay cooped up in my house and think about it. I definitely need some cheering up. Hoping MI:3 (and the Superman Returns trailer--all 2 minutes and 28 seconds of it) will help out =)
Well other than that..
So yesterday at Zory's birthday shindig, I'm talking to this woman there. Turns out her son is the lead singer of Plain Jane Automobile (way cool) but thats not the best part haha. Turns out the school she's teaching at are taking a bunch of the spanish classes to Costa Rica for 3 weeks next year during the summer. Oh yes. Costa Rica. Not only that, but they're gonna be studying turtles and dolphins. Um, can you say awesome? yes awesome indeed. Turns out if I volunteer as a chaperone, all expenses will be paid for and all that jazz; not to mention it'll look great on ze resume-o-rama. Hopefully everything will pull through. So if I end up doing that, then the birthday cruise will have to be during spring break (to those who are going)*crosses fingers*
Alright back to novel. Finally easing out of my writer's block and I'm putting it to good use.
