So You Think You Can Vote
Many of you have heard this from me or otherwise in some capacity...
Our family friend and talented ballroom dancer, Dmitry Chaplin, is competing on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" (the dancing version of "American Idol") and kicking some ass, if I may say so myself. Every week a guy and a girl are cut from the show and Dmitry's avoided the boot since he landed himself in the Top 20 in the beginning of June. The show is proving to be massively entertaining with a variety of styles performed every week (contemporary, hip hop, Boradway, ballrom, etc) and is partly the inspiration for my desire to take a dance class in the fall (see recent posts.)
Tonight is a special night as it's now down to the Top 10, which means all new partner configurations, two routines for each pair, and a solo for each. I'm excited to see how they're going to pack it all into 2 hours!
If you're curious as well, check out the show at 8 pm EST / 7 pm CEN on the Fox network.
And if you happen to watch or hear from me tonight...would you mind putting in a vote for the tall, dark and handsome Russian?? Perhaps the show is rigged, but ya might as well err on the side of caution and vote, right? Many thanks in advance!
