OK, so can someone just put me out of my misery and let me have a figure skater's baby, already? Especially that silver meddlin' Swiss cheese man? (And while we're on the subject...enough with the 'matador,' look, gents!!!) OK, and if not, then my dad's nummy 20-something bass-playing tennis coach?
Did I tell you how one time I dreamt that I competed as a figure skater? Not sure if I won or lost that one - that's besides the point - that feeling of gliding on air (fine, ice) with all eyes on me was priceless. *sigh* /self-pity over unmet life goal
Is anyone else having one of those "wanna make God laugh? tell him your plans" weeks? Virtually every day in the past week that I have scheduled something, it has fallen through, and for the most part what I have tried to do has been unsuccessful. Charlene's felt this way, too. But actually we fought our way back by the end of the day, I think. I worked 10.5 straight hours today and then hung out for almost half an hour chatting with her. It still amazes me how little weight time carries while I'm at my job. Monday, as I was getting sick, was one of the few days I could not wait to finish. But, hell, when it comes down to it, I still have some control over how I spend my day. That is why I vow to do all I can to make it to the Children's Museum with kiraaso tomorrow for the Anime/Manga Exhibit that closes in a week. Did somebody say 'Fiju-Ya'?
