The Sentinels are being torn to hell, and the army is scattered and unsure of how to handle these targets outside of emptying their weapons at them. It's not been an easy fight, but it's generally going the X-Men's way ( Read more... )

Saints. Siryn comes out of her tumble to stare at the Dreadnoughts, taking a moment to curse the dry desert air before she opens her mouth.

Time for something more subtle. Subsonics, to rattle their circuitry.

One regiment does start to march erratically at that, but three of them reach a fist up to the sky once they track the source, each firing spikes from their knuckles as fast as bullets at her.

Too many, too small to dodge. She ascends into the sky, trying to stay out of range. But out of range for them means out of range for her voice, too, so she circles, trying to find another attack vector.

The Dreadnoughts do have a limited range, but it doesn't stop them from trying to blast at her with their optic rays.

When in doubt, try the scattershot approach.

She spirals overhead, varying her altitude erratically, letting the hypersonics pour from her mouth as she draws closer to them, catching her breath as she rises higher.
