Preparing for War
Jubilee, as assigned on the Strike Team, and thus has three hours to prepare. There might be those that would take this time to get in extra training, but not her. For her, since her mutant ability does take a lot of her energy, Jubilee takes this time to relax for a while. After changing into her mission outfit, she sets her watch to set off an alarm in two hours. Then, taking the small lunch she has packed, she goes outside, to the mansion grounds.
She selects a good shady tree, where she can watch the kids play basketball from afar. Where she can be found, if anyone is looking for her. She doubts she is on any ones mind right now, but still she stays in sight.
She leans against the tree, and relaxes. Conserving the energy she will need for the fight, by taking a moment to just be at peace at the world. It is a nice day. Close at hand she has her sandwich, a cold drink, and a book. The book itself, is deceptive. The cover claims that it is a Calvin and Hobbes comic collection. But the actually book is one of those girl fashion magazines, and right now she is reading some makeup and dressing tips. It is nothing to be ashamed of, really, but she just prefers to keep the fact that she is clueless about this sort of thing to herself.
She sighs contently, and enjoys the day. Might as well have the next two hours be enjoyable ones.
