The club is called Excelsior - a fashionable all-night rave where the patrons are encouraged to come in costume as one of New York's super-heroes, or super-villains. On the right half of the room there is a somewhat orderly raised area with tables and booths, the trendy sipping drinks with the trendy. The majority of the room is dominated by the dance floor.
Sashenka wears no costume, just her usual little black dress, as she moves amidst the chaos of the dance floor, enjoying the feel of the music and a pleasant buzz from alcohol.
