While Jan is away... Hank is also away.

The idea was too good not to follow up on, and it's certainly a confidence booster.

"Yes, sir, the schematics are on their way to your office right now."

He's never been one to throw his weight around as an Avenger, especially on his own - given his history. But he's definitely taking advantage of the fact that his recent service and his wife's public support have done a great deal to help heal his public image.

"No, sir, there's really not much difference between this and the Vault as we know it. Security upgrades, more unique detainment capabilities that I'll take a personal hand in, and of course, shrinking it down to microscopic size should prevent every kind of traditional escape efforts."

Washington D.C. can be a scary place, as nobody trusts anybody. As much as he'd like his wife with him, he knows she's got plenty to do in New York. And he can at least focus on addressing Congress without worry.

"Yes sir, their equipment and weaponry will be stored in a different facility, also miniaturized to prevent their access to it should something unthinkable ever occur. We have to think the unthinkable to make any progress, and believe me, this willbe real progress."

They seem to be going for it. It's cost-effective, and the main sticking points will be haggling over hazard pay with the prison workers' unions, and that's not his area.

Hank feels good, smiling as he speaks and seeming genuinely excited about the prospect. Keeping the public safe, innovating incarceration AND setting up a new industry. Not a bad bit of work for an Avenger who's not even avenging.

Tiny superhuman prisons. He's making it happen.
