It wasn't that Lila had purposely been avoiding anyone X. She led a busy life, as did her friends on the various teams. Their paths didn't cross very often.
But after escaping deathtraps on Halloween with her ex's sister and Guido's teammate, she'd been thinking about those friends - and missing them terribly. Her Dyson Sphere was a lovely bit of quiet, but she did get lonely among the stars. After checking her schedule, Lila made up her mind to visit. Hey, it wasn't as though she'd have to pay airfare!
She 'ported onto the X-Mansion grounds, hoping they hadn't changed the landscaping. It'd be dead embarrassing turning up in a pond that wasn't there last time. Happily, she stepped onto the dry lawn, grinning widely and walking up the drive.
"Hullo the house!" she called, adjusting the duffel strap over her shoulder. Oh yes, she planned to stay for a few days at least. "Anyone home?"
