Scott had phoned Sharon to set up their next date. Finding a day that worked with both their schedules was only a minor headache. He'd hoped that they'd be able to slip out of the mansion without Cassie noticing but an Antman situation had held him up and he didn't think Sharon would appreciate it if he showed up for the date in his uniform. Sharon had the fingers of one hand intertwined with Scott's as they walked down the midway. "What would you like to do next?"

"I'll buy you a fried twinkie if you want to win a prize?" Scott offered idly. "Or we could go on a ride?" This was nice. It was nice to have someone to talk to above seventeen and just...be an adult with. He was so rusty on the dating thing.

"How about I win you a prize? I saw a shooting game. I bet I could do it without any problems."

"If you couldn't, I think we'd be having to talk to Col. Fury," Scott laughed. "Sure you don't want some fried something goodness?"

"French fries would be heavenly," she said with a smile.

Scott let go of her hand long enough to wrap his arm around her shoulders. "It's nice...dating someone who knows. I tried to date when I lost Cassie." It didn't work so well.

Sharon smiled when his arm went around her shoulders. "It is. It's hard to date outside...the profession. They never quite understand the demands or reasoning."

"And then you lie to them, which is never good for a relationship," Scott spoke from lots of experience on that one. Half of what broke him and his ex-wife up was all the lying he did. The other half of course being she really wasn't ready to settle down and be a family. Not to mention his burglary habits. "But then how do you explain that you have to go fight a supervillain or shrink down to the size of an ant?"

Sharon nodded. "Exactly. In my case I can't even tell someone what I'm working on. Almost all of it is classified. Then they think you're keeping it from them on purpose."

"Try working with Tony sometimes! THen they think you're out dating other women on the side," Scott rolled his eyes. "No offense, but two women is the max I can handle, and one of them is my very teenage girl."

"Yes, well Tony and his conquests are well known. I can see why they could think that."

"He's got his own way of dealing with things," Scott smiled. "But he's a good guy."

"You could say that," Sharon said with a small smile. Tony Stark was...just not her type and she never had much dealings with him.

Scott just smiled. It took a special kind of person to put up with Tony Stark. Darting to the side, he returned with two sodas, a fry and his fried twinkie. "Want a taste?" He handed her her drink and fries.
