Carmilla tried to keep her mind quiet.

Which was resulting in a line of thought that was Don't think anything, don't think anything, don't think...

She had her 'work' to do. Her new 'job' and fun being stuck between a rock and a hard(er) place, but she had been in New York to vote. In fact, she still wore the 'I Voted' sticker on her forehead.

If she could get away with it she was going to pounce him from behind with one bandaged arm and one unbandaged one.

Telling you mind to be quiet is a sure fire way to make sure your thoughts are heard. But he didn't mind, and let himself be pounced on.

She did have a way of brightening his day, and he couldn't help but smile some.
