On The Outs (bendy-timed to before Jean's return)

To say that the events surrounding the Bellingham/Kevin Ford incident had shaken Sal to the core would be putting it mildly. Despite the reassurance from Mr Summers that the students buggering off and coming home half dead - and Mark's death - were events beyond the sphere of her control, she couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that the incidents had brought about.

Add into that her training sessions with the hairy, cranky other Canadian were taking a physical toll, and Sal was not just shaken.

She had quite literally reached the end of her rope.

And so: the barrack boxes and dresser drawers were thrown open (revealing the illicit bottles of Screech), Carmilla, Othello, Beaumont and the MacBook had been put in their cases and laid on the bed with her shoulder bag, and the short woman was packing like someone had lit a fire under her butt and told her to get the hell out.

If one were to look in on the room, one would get the very strong impression that one of its occupants was leaving.

Quite possibly for good.

aero, sal gillam
