Thankfully, the trip wasn't too far. Guided telepathically by the Stepford Cuckoos, the New X-Men arrived in Scarsdale, which was halfway between Salem Center and New York, fairly quickly. Unfortunately, that was about as close as the girls could narrow down Kevin Ford's location.
Luckily, they had another clue to go on, the fact that Kevin was in a densely wooded area, and there weren't too many of those so close to the city. A fly over netted them their best lead on Kevin. In Sprain Ridge Park, in a thick grove of lush green trees, there was a blotch, a small area where the trees had been horribly rotted out.
It stood out like a sore thumb, so that's where Julian dropped everyone.
"Looks like he was here..." There was a look at X-23. She was the best tracker in the group, which is why he brought her along. "...which way is he heading?"
