The Day From Hell - Crazy Things Tend to Happen When the Inmates Are Running The Asylum
The X-Men had left. All of them, and had left every last one of the students behind. The situation in Bellingham was drastic enough to warrant this action. All the students were told, in no uncertain terms, to remain on the grounds until the X-Men returned.
Sal Gillam, one of the newer (but oldest) students was tasked with taking care of them. She was told who to contact in the even trouble came looking for them. Though it was the prospect of the students going to look for trouble that seemed more likely.
Particularly since several of them had concerned themselves with finding Kevin Ford. He's a teenager and a mutant, much like themselves. He was currently on the run, accused of murdering his father, and recently of assaulting two others. Some of the public was all ready out for his blood. But now, more than ever, the students were afraid of what would happen to Kevin if a mob found him first.
