There's a glance to his negabands. Wondering if he wasn't drawn here by his oosmic awareness. Perhaps there is a clue here as to how he and Rick may divest themselves of each other and end the co-dependence.

Instinctively, he tries to delve into his cosmic awareness to tell him the answers... but there doesn't seem to be any access. Even their glow is dulled.

Pain wracks his body how did I not see this coming before he is unceremoniously pulled with a sudden jerk directly into that massive swirling font of cosmic energy called the Crunch.
Genis vanishes, much like his sister did elsewhere.
Leaving Jones in the Microverse, lacking any communication with the universe outside his new prison.
