Steve's always been an early riser. 5 AM, he's out of bed and exercising.

Today, he ran a few miles, then returned to the Avengers gym for some work on the uneven bars. A shower later, and he's in his sweatclothes in the dining room with a bowl of cereal for breakfast.

A bright flash of light fills the room, and fifteen bald women suddenly fill the room.

"Take them! Take them now!"

Moving like lightning, they jab towards each of the men present with small items in their hands, coursing with electricity.

"Oh my stars and garters! We're being invaded by a group of Moondragon groupies!" Hank quipped as he bounced backward, kicking off his shoes in the process, turning them into potent missiles against his foe.

He looked down as he landed to find the fur on his chest singed. He hadn't been quite quick enough. "Oh, that's going to be sore tomorrow..."

"Down, slaves!" one insists, swinging again.

"Now, now. Surely there is room for civil discourse. Shirley? You do look like a Shirley, though I suppose you might also be a Maybelle..."

Hoping that he could take the hit, Hank charged forward, ducking low and using his long arm to throw a punch, while at the same time catching the electrified weapon on his shoulder.

"Arrrgh!"

This was not a good time to try to get some cheezits, especially without the suit. He can still try to cold cock whoever this crazy women in his kitchen is.

They're fast, whoever they are. As fast as Steve.

He gets a solid hit on her, but she's not out. Instead, she spins on him and attacks him with her electrical weapon.

He dives out of the way, hoping to be a distraction for someone a little more combat ready.

Clint throws his coffee at the woman attacking Tony, hoping to distract her while he closes, and delivers a sidekick to the head.

She screams as the coffee hits her face and goes sprawling from the kick... but two more come at Clint from behind, attempting to restrain his arms.

There's a very good reason why Tai took Vance out first in their last battle.

A TK tendril sweeps at the women going for Clint, meaning to sweep them aside.

"Tony, sound the alarm!" Clint yells as he works in tandem with Vance, waiting for the tendrils to knock the intruders off balance, before lending the weight of his kicks to the effort.

Several of them on Hawkeye scatter like tenpins...

But there are three more now moving in on Vance, and three more moving towards Tony.

Steve smashes his fist into one woman attacking him, while another gets kicked in the knee.

"He fights like a woman!" one of them insists, impressed, as they continue to swarm him, looking for an opening.

Clint tries to place himself between Stark and his assailants, quietly cursing his lack of even his quiver, let alone a bow.

Three to one isn't the greatest odds in the world, but screw it. If life were perfect, he'd be out of a job, so he stands his ground, determined to buy Tony just as much time as he possibly can.

This won't be easy. Going into a fight after a night spent patrolling isn't Vance's idea of a good idea, but he doesn't have a choice. Besides, he'd done worse as a New Warrior.

He pushes the women closing in on him back, tossing one at the women going after Tony. He does his best to pull them from other fights as well, but there's only so much room in the dining room. He doesn't want to get his teammates hurt.
