Right, if that's how they want to play it?

Natasha sends out the general alarm (if the destruction weren't alarm enough to those in the Mansion proper) and heads toward the door. Someone's behind this, someone calling the shots from the outside.

Her eyes narrow.

There's a lot of noise coming from behind her, as walls are crashed through seemingly at random.

It may cover up the sound of a ball and chain whiffing through the air, intent on crashing down more of the door frame to send debris flying at her.

Hitting the Black Widow with debris is about as simple as catching flies with chopsticks. She's nimble.

She also has a more limited list of who's out here now, judging by the sound and motion. "Bulldozer?" she mutters to herself as she catches the attack on Wanda out of the corner of one eye.

THIS is going to be fun.

There's none of the usual boasting and catcalling going on, considering it's the Wrecking Crew.

Creel's even careful about the sound of his footsteps. He wants his presence to be a surprise.

His eyes are locked with the Widow's though, even if she doesn't know it. It's always difficult to get the drop on her.

So he waits her out. Seeing what SHE's gonna do. Rare that the Widow is visible and her opponent isn't.

She can't see him, no.

Hear him? That's maybe another thing. Maybe. She certainly seems to be on guard.

The Widow half-turns and calls, "Avengers Assemble!" into her com. In the absence of Captain America, she has no compunction about stepping into the role of leader.

There's his shot.

It's a half-turn, but it's enough.

She'll probably expect the headshot, so he swings for her knees instead. Take her legs out, she ain't so nimble no more...

She can hear the attack a split second before she is struck, and down she goes...but it's a controlled roll at the end, and the moment she is turned, she fires her Widow's bite in the direction from which she was attacked.

Damn, that hurt.

He's not there anymore.

His footsteps are light enough to be covered by the chaos in the Mansion.

He's got a job to do himself... and the plans they got for the layout of the joint look pretty accurate so far.

Natasha swears violently and looks down at the ground for footprints. She needs a clue. There's got to be one around somewhere.

If there is, there's suddenly another huge cloud of dust and debris that's smashed up to completely obscure things - and with any luck, knock her out of the fight.

She was expecting to get attacked earlier, but the dust and debris? Not entirely anticipated.

Coughing violently, the Widow throws an arm over her eyes and backs up, trying to get to clear air. She's blinded, hopefully not for long.
