There's power in the dark, available to those who rule the Land Between. Demonic power, that transforms and corrupts. Power that turned Ilyana Rasputin into the Darkchylde.
Power that, despite Strange's warnings, and the words of the Vishanti, Amanda now has need to call upon. Assuming it has not been drained as well.
First, though, there are steps she must take. Whatever this power will do to her, those who have come to her aid deserve none of the evil it will bring.
Her companions lie sleeping, exhausted after searching high and low for the missing Sofia. When they wake, they should be in their own homes, free of any perceived obligation to the Limbo Queen.
Assuming that this trick goes well.
Amanda steps towards a small altar, and begins to pray to the Vishanti.
"Aggamotto, the all-seeing, show me my quarry, both enemy and ally. The usurper of Limbo, and the ally it has stolen from me."
It's a draining experience, but Amanda can suddenly see everything. All the corners of Limbo available to her, and from there, everything. She can see the potential: From Limbo, she could reach out, take worls, universes, realities. Everything is connected to this place, and she could see all that everything has to offer...
"No." Just the word, the voice, pulls her back to herself. There's a moment where the room suffocates her, too enclosed, too small, too limiting, but it passes. She does not give in to the temptation.
"Selene and the Enchantress." She has seen the enemy, and she understands now. The draining of power from Selene's vampiric abilities, pulling the demons to her side as well. Enchantress kidnapping Sofia. She can see the whole plan.
Now, for the next part.
"Oshtur, the all-wise, the peaceful. Bestow your blessing upon my allies. Return them to their proper places, and their proper lives. Cleanse them of this land's taint, that they may be whole once more."
A soft, silver glow envelops those brought to Limbo, and one by one, they vanish. Even Sofia is taken from the Enchantress' clutches, her spell broken. She'll wake up in the X-mansion, only an hour passed since she was swept to Limbo in the first place.
"Hoggoth, the all-powerful, let me be your sword. Let fire and lightning come to me, and add your wrath to mine: My foes are naught before you, let them be not before me."
It's a resurgence of power, and a drain at the same time. She cannot contain the strength of the God for long, so she does what she has to do.
In an instant, she is at Vitchen's side, pulling him from his sleep.
"You. You will be Limbo's next champion. You are my successor, my heir. I bestow all Limbo's strength to you, as its rightful ruler. I abdicate my throne to you, with all the privileges and responsibilities it offers."
She clasps his hands, and a golden light passes from her to him. The stepping disks of Limbo, and proper ownership.
As well, the power drained from Selene should be returned to him. Whether drained from Amanda or not, the power belongs to the land, and since it's now Vitchen's, it's all to him.
And then she's outside, in front of what is not Vitchen's Castle Limbo. As it warps and shifts to accomodate his desires, Amanda stands in the courtyard. The soulsword in her hand, she shoves it into the ground--a move Ilyana once performed to seal the demon S'ym away. Now, Amanda does it to sever any connection between Selene and Limbo. It cuts through magic, and should sunder any threads from which Selene might draw the land's power.
And now, with the lost of Hoggoth's strength, she will herself home. The feel of Limbo fades from her flesh, and she's struck with Earth air for the first time since Strange's re-appearance. Her feet touch soil, and the smell of wood hits her.
The Black Forest, in Germany, where she lived as a child. Where her circus still calls home.
Home. Amanda Sefton is Home.
