There are things in this universe that Phyla-Vell does not understand. Many things, as a matter of fact.
But on the top of that list right now? Is the nature of her abilities versus those of her brother and father. Genis and Mar-Vell both had powers on their own, but wore the nega-bands to gain even more, such as their cosmic awareness. Phyla, however, has all their talents without them. What exactly is it that makes her special?
Of course, that very power means that there shouldn't be anything in the universe that Phy doesn't understand. Being cosmically aware should mean knowing everything, right?
So, it's time to use that power to find out. Heather is at her side and in her mind, ready to guide her along the way. Genis had some adverse effects to this power, after all. Phy wants to make sure she has something to tether her to reality.
And as it starts, it strikes her just how much there is. It's easy to see how one could be lost here. She's not though, she's going to target what she needs and try to find it. It's not going to be easy, though.
