Justice, Like Something...

The Thunderbolts have accepted Blackrock's offer. They now have a New York headquarters, sponsorship and even steady, honest paychecks. The one thing they don't have is credibility.

They were once the Masters of Evil, led by Baron Zemo.

When a void needed to be filled, they stepped up and became the Thunderbolts to take their place, only with less than noble agendas. But they liked being heroes - all except Zemo. That led to an ugly falling out, their secret being exposed, and absolutely no respect or trust any more. Not to mention Zemo occasionally trying to kill them or subjugate them again.

Melissa Gold still isn't quite sold on the whole endeavor, but the others all seemed convinced that this was the way to go. Legitimacy, no temptations to, uh, "raise their own capital," Abner had said. She looks out the window at their surroundings. She'd be a lot happier if they weren't stationed so close to Oscorp.

The Songbird has a bad feeling about this.
