Puzzle Pieces
Luna was confused. She didn't like not getting something right away. Or in this case, getting something but feeling like she shouldn't.
Maybe this was what her Crazy Uncle had meant about the secret being the thing that drove him insane. It had to be, because the whole thing was hurting her head. Like when you had a jigsaw puzzle and the last couple of pieces were missing. You knew what most of it was, but without those last couple of pieces it didn't really look right.
Feeling not her normal bright and cheery self Luna went to where it was you could always find Cousin Gorgon this time of day. Any other little kid would've been kicked out automatically, but she was in here often enough with Cousin Gorgon that they knew her.
After all, some girls just loved little kids. And sitting there and looking really cute got her candy and toys. It worked out great.
She looked around the place for him, it was crowded tonight and she really wished she was taller.
