Meanwhile, at the Mad Scientist's Lair...

...No really, but that's what it feels like at the dusty old West Coast compound, having Blue Hank run all these tests with Antman Hank's equipment. the rest of the Avengers are out fighting armies of the dead or something. Consciousness is a fleeting thing, so that might not be happening anymore. Who knows? He's here as a test dummy, feeling ( Read more... )

Tigra was back and her tail swished in anticipation. From the way she moved, like an eager kitten looking for its favorite toy, odds were good that when she found Simon she was going to pounce him.

Good luck with that. He's still all energy and no fleshy bits. Which is why he says, with the flirt voice -

"Damn Greer, I'm both really happy, and really not, to see you right now."

Coiled muscles suddenly released as Tigra pounced.

Unfortunately she didn't get the reaction she was expecting.

"Mraw!" Tigra's whole body shivered and it took several moments for her to pull away from Simon.

Every hair on her body stood up straight, like someone rubbed a balloon all over her. And her hair, well, that was even worse.

And you thought you had bad hair days.

"Sorry. That's the bad news. I can't get my body back in order." But damn, he wishes he could....for at least 12 hours of exactly what Greer just wanted to do. Preferably right next to Vihz's room at full roof rattling volume. He sighs, puts his nonexistent arm over his nonexisitent eyes and tells the petty thought to shove off.

Tigra tried to smooth down her fur but quickly gave up. Simon was upset and she knew just how to cheer him up, provided she could get him back to normal.

She walked as close to Simon as she dared. "You need motivation." She teased.

"Believe me. You are more then enough motivation for anyone. Here." He shifts his ionic energy a little and lets his hands move slowly across, but not touching, Tigra's form. It will feel like a very light, soothing massage while smoothing down her fur.

"Rrrrrr." Her vocal chords vibrated. "Purrrrrhaps if you keep trrying."

Simon, you can do this. You need to do this. To prove you can. To prove you're alive.

His red eyes get a half lidded look as he modifies the ionic frequencies - and lets his hands move lower.

Tigra fought not to curl around Simon. "That's the spirit." She said between purrs.

It's taking a lot of focus to do this and his form flickers from the effort. The Hanks would kill him for doing this - but anything to feel human and competent. Women usually managed to do both.

"Got a room yet?" he murmurs.

"I like where you're going." Both with that train of thought and with his hand.

"I go other places?" He's a little breathless, and there's no hormone high happening in this form, but Tigra is so nice. Simple. Uncomplicated. He can go back to this 'simple,' opportunistic stuff - even if it's draining him like a fight with the Wrecking Crew.

"You could. Like my bedroom."

"Lead -"

And then he disperses momentarily only to reform in a purple flash and promptly pass out.

Oh shit!

"SIMON!" Tigra climbed on top of the man. Was she supposed to look for a heart beat? Jump on him until he woke up?

Her fur was going everywhere.

"HANK! HANK! CAP! JARVIS!" She yelled.

She killed him. She killed him and she couldn't even say he'd been sexed to death.

Hank bounded in.

"What happened?" He saw Simon on the floor. To use the colloquial: Whuh oh. Grabbing a scanner, he bent down, ignoring the way the ionic energy made his own fur stand on end as he tended to his friend. "The scans are indicating he expended a large amount of energy he didn't have--what did he do? Simon? Can you hear me?"
