Regrets
The rogue branch of SHIELD has been defeated. The Red Skull got away. All surviving prisoners have received medical attention.
There's one last one to see to. Patriot was taken to the closest hospital. He'd lost a lot of blood. Cap needs to get out there quickly.
He looks out at the assembled heroes.
"I've made a terrible mistake," he admits. "Avengers... don't let any of these heroes who have stood against you today be taken when the police arrive. Make sure they all get proper medical attention." He turns to the X-Men. "You can take your students back, if you feel you should. I'll be in touch. Avengers, please bring the rest back to the mansion. We'll have... things to discuss."
He glances around at the more skeptical-looking faces in the crowd. "Please. Let me make amends for the mistakes I've made."
He gently places an unconscious Hollow onto his skycycle.
