The Valley People had not been happy to let Venus go, but they also knew the time would eventually come when their goddess would leave them. With tears streaming down their faces, they gave her their best wishes and said their goodbyes, promising to keep her dream of a land of love alive.
M-11 reported that he had calculated his percentage of Namora's survival on information raided from databases of SHIELD, Lemuria, and Atlantis -- though how he had acquired access to those databases was a topic which the robot was predictably silent on. With M-11's coordinates, Bob flew the Saucer directly to the Arctic circle, bringing the flying vessel underwater and to a cave. Supposedly, Namora had been poisoned by Llyra, an Atlantean rival, but her body had been left frozen and intact -- with a promise to damage or defile the body should her supporters not obey Llyra's commands.
Bob modified some of his flight suits for the crew, and gave them time to put them on. After a near call with Khanata, Bob remembered to set the suits to Earth atmosphere -- and they exited the Saucer, heading into the cavern.
"It's not hard to see why this hasn't been found before," Bob observes quietly, silently wondering just how M-11 managed this calculation.
