Sarah had not forgot her promise to Victor, however she had not been able to find much information from any of the Government Agencies regarding what's going on with the act. He almost the door in a big dramatic gesture ready to rush out and slam it behind him, seeing Sofia right there made him jump though. "WOAH!

Sofia was right outside the room and she did not look happy. In fact, the phrase "pissed off" did nothing to describe how mad she looked.

Sofia was having trouble coming up with coherent thoughts in English. "What, do you only play hero when your life is on the line or when you take a girl on a date? He was stunned, not by the force of the slap, but by the fact that she actually hit him.

It was a few seconds until he could actually form words again.

It was a few more seconds until he shook his head. Her words hadn't quite sunk in yet.

Julian might almost thank Victor for that. The insult was enough to snap him back to his normal senses. And then everything said the last several seconds caught up with him.

"What's wrong with me is that, apparently, I'm the only person here with any common sense. He came to me for help with something that's completely insane. Not my fault you can't get anything through that pointy skull of his unless you use all the subtlety of a sledgehammer."

He can't believe they were trying to turn this shit around on him.
