Captain America isn't often in Los Angeles. Since arriving, he's had five offers to license a movie based on his life, three job offers to change careers to acting, and one suggestion he take up "adult movie acting"... and he's only been here twenty minutes.
Most citizens aren't paying much attention to him -- he's just another celebrity. But some people in LA are constantly seeking opportunity, and Captain America is a potential massive opportunity.
As a result, Captain America is relieved to move past the crowds, past the DO NOT CROSS lines, among the SHIELD agents. It's no small thing when a Helecarrier crash-lands, and SHIELD is covering this with their best.
...or they should. Cap's surprised to see no sign of Dum Dum anywhere around. He should be in charge of an investigation like this. Dum Dum, or Woo, or someone equally high up.
He casts a glance around and finds the man he's looking for... Iron Man, in a new suit of armor, standing before a hammer, lying in the middle of the street.
"Iron Man," Cap greets as he approaches. "Who's in charge on the SHIELD side?"
