The woman is bringing a glass of water up to her lips as Paige says it. Rogue blinks a few times at the blonde. "You mean... What did yer brother do to it?"
As much as she hates admitting it, Rogue watched that show every day growing up. It was a lot of a stereotype and her Momma hated her watching it but she loved that show so much. And the General? Might be the reason she loves cars so much.
"John Schneider was in town for a signing. He bought that car, you know. Says it treated him right all those years, the least he could do was return the favor."
Her cheeks pink at the thought of the sacrilige committed by members of her own family - her own blood!
"And my brother, well, he got John nice and drunk, introdced him to our cousin Rita, and...well, according to Mama, the General is at the bottom of a coal mine right now."
"We can't go as X-Men. If it looks like mutants are stealing a cultural icon like that, well, we have enough problems with the press. We have to do this undercover!"
Rogue looks up from getting herself a glass of water.
