Summary: Nothing's been the same since New York. At least, that's what Tony keeps saying. The truth is, nothing has been the same for Steve since he woke up seventy years in the future, everything and everyone he knew long since gone.
Soon it seems as if everyone has forgotten about Loki and the Chitauri as new villains crop up and life goes on with humanity more than capable of causing just as much, if not more, chaos than Loki had. For Steve though, Loki and his fate ever remain a niggling uncertainty in the back of his mind.
It's a cool, crisp October day that Steve finally learns what happened to the god of mischief.
Author's Notes: This is the first story in a 2-3 story arc that deals with Loki finding redemption of a sort, while finding love in the most unexpected of places. The first story is from Steve's POV.
