secret
we're doing secret santa at the office this week. i intensely dislike secret santa. i'm bad at hiding other people's gifts and bad at finding mine. i got caught today -- smiled like a guilty fool when my boss teasingly thanked me for the candles i gave him -- should have said "what candles?" "cool, you got candles?" -- but noooo. i sneaked up the back stairs and through the back door so quietly and carefully with my heart pounding and my hands shaking and and hid two candles in a red bag with white tissue so (i thought) cleverly and got caught by my uncontrollable guilty fool smile. and it's only tuesday. pffft.
