Travel advice?
OK, guys. After I wrap up the semester here, I'll have about three weeks to travel. I'm flying back from NYC, and my current plan is to rent a car and drive there. I'm currently in Gainesville, Florida. Anyone have any advice as where to go / where absolutely not to go? Any advice on traveling alone in the US? Any tips on where to stay? I'm on a fairly tight budget, so any advice is more than welcome. I'm thinking of doing a photography workshop in Maine by the end of May, though I might hop over to Canada in that case for a few days, and extend my stay in the States that way (I have a flexible plane ticket, although my visa expires on June 1st).
