FUCK COMPUTERS
it feels very good to be done with classes. today in creative writing my story was workshoped, which means that everyone puts their desks in a circle and takes turns telling you how fucking horrible the thing you spent the entire semester writing is. the main criticism was that mine had too much dialect. they said it was hard to read. fuck that. the story isnt good, but the language is realistic. real people use contractions and speak in sentence fragments. they dont say things like "I AM GOING TO WALK TO MY CAR AND THEN I WILL PROCEED TO THE SHOPPING MALL." alot of kids did say that it read like a screen play though, and one person compared it to Requiem for a Dream. ill take those as compliments. huge thanks to Nate for taking like, half of his day to help me out with all these computer problems I'm having. too bad we didnt figure it out. the day wasnt a total waste though, because I went to Plan 9 and bought the last remaining copy of this:
