Don't really think those pokemon do anything, really. But yeah, usually you can get a job at the pokemon center or something.

I might be able to put in a good word for you at the Violet Pokemon center.

But yeah, the pokecenter or the mart are the best places to get jobs. Lots of people work there.

Well... yes. I'm actually quite used to speaking with and dealing with people. [Done that a good part of his life.]

And I'm pretty sure I can take care of Pokémon in a proper way. [His own never seem to complain about him and his way of training.]

Then the pokemon center would be the best place to go. If you can do both those things, they'll love you there.

Worked there for several months and it worked out.

Ah, is that so? That's relieving then. I would hate if me and my pokémon ended up hungry because I couldn't get a job. [Specially his pokémon. He's trying to create a strong bond with them, and he doesn't want them to starve.]

More than you know, bro. I really miss home. I mean, I've made some great friends here, but I'm at the point where I'd do anything to see my friends again. One of them was around for a bit but then he went home so....

[He'll just stop before he starts ranting at a complete stranger about everything that is wrong in Johto. Which basically amounts to Barney is a prissy whiner who can't stand camping half the time.]
