Working from home
I am working from home today as we are getting new cable and phone, and having the air ducts cleaned in the house. Don't know how much work I will actually get done, but it was nice to not have to make the hour commute this morning. I had a guard day last Saturday and have to go down again this weekend. Next month I have a Combat Lifesaver class that I have to attend for a week.
My step father is also not doing very well lately, he has colon cancer and its starting to spread. The doctors are giving him anywhere from a couple of weeks to a month or two. So we need to decide if we want to go out and say goodbye to him, go out for the funeral, or go out at Thanksgiving or Christmas and see my mom most likely after he is gone. I hate these kinds of decisions.
