it's raining, it's pouring

it sounds so pretty outside right now. it's raining and pouring. i'm listening to pet sounds by the beach boys and it makes me happy.
i'm packing up my room for my move next week. i'm so excited. it feels like christmas.
i just got a call from chris. he's at his mom's this weekend. he says he's bored, but i think he likes visiting her. and andy. mange mange andy.
we had our two year yesterday and celebrated by him being sneaky and getting the day off work for me without me knowing. so sneaky.
tomorrow night laura and i are having a slumber party. we'll probably rent a girly movie and eat snacks. she's been having a not-so-good time lately, so we're going to cheer her up really good. i'm looking forward to a night of nothing. it'll be so nice.
i'm doing pretty much the same tonight, except that i'm doing some packing while i do other nothing stuff.

other fun activities for the evening include:
-painting my nails pink
-writing letters to penpals
-reading the adventures of the moomintroll family (the finns have the best children's stories)
-and snuggling up in my bed for an early sleep
